Float & Wade
French Creek Sportsmen’s Club is ideally located on eight private miles of untouched North Platte River. This crystalline freestone fishery is fed entirely by snowmelt as it forms at the base of two 14,000ft mountain ranges in North Park, CO. During the springtime over 30 mile of floatable blue-ribbon water stretch from the Colorado border to French Creek Sportsmen’s club. Our 16,000 acres of diverse Rocky Mountain landscape offer near endless wade fishing opportunities during the later months of the season.
Named a “Blue Ribbon Trout Stream” by the Wyoming Game and Fish Department, the North Platte River is home to roughly 4,000 brown and rainbow trout and Snake River cutthroats per mile. When you team up with French Creek Sportsmen’s Club, which offers guided trout fishing trips throughout the year, the North Platte River is your playground. French Creek Sportsmen’s Club also offers casting lessons and guided wading under a scenic canopy of towering cottonwood trees.
